Title: “Quickline Extends Full Fibre Broadband to Yorkshire Dales, Enhancing Connectivity for Rural Communities”

Quickline’s commitment to delivering fast and reliable broadband takes center stage with the recent network expansion. Residents and businesses in these picturesque Yorkshire Dales communities, situated near the popular tourist village of Grassington, can now access Quickline broadband, ensuring a seamless and efficient digital experience.

Julian Chalk, Head of Enablement and Engagement at Quickline, emphasizes the transformative impact of full fibre broadband on communities that have grappled with slow and inconsistent internet connectivity. Chalk states, “Our full fibre broadband is a game-changer for communities that have endured slow and inconsistent broadband for too long. Nobody should have to struggle with poor connectivity, and at Quickline, we are passionate about helping customers live their best digital lives, regardless of their location.”

Notably, the latest network expansion encompasses properties included in phase four of the Superfast North Yorkshire programme. This collaborative initiative involves North Yorkshire Council, NYnet (the council’s technology company), Openreach, and Quickline. With funding exceeding £12 million from North Yorkshire Council, phase four aims to dramatically enhance internet connections in technologically isolated areas of the county.

Councillor Derek Bastiman, Executive Member for Open to Business at North Yorkshire Council, underscores the commitment to providing essential internet connectivity. He remarks, “The rollout of the programme to Hebden, Barden, Burnsall, and Hetton is the latest clear example of that commitment, connecting homes and businesses with broadband that is vital for life in the 21st century.”

Quickline’s expansion into these Yorkshire Dales communities aligns with its broader mission to empower rural areas with advanced broadband solutions, fostering digital inclusion and enriching the quality of life for residents and businesses alike.
