Quickline Communications Earns PTC Status in Collaboration with Openreach

Lincolnshire, UK – Quickline Communications, a prominent rural broadband provider, has been granted Path to Collaboration (PTC) status by Openreach. This recognition signifies Quickline’s consistent delivery of high-quality work while utilizing Openreach’s national network of ducts and poles for its own fiber infrastructure.

PTC is a significant status within Openreach’s Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) program, highlighting operators with exceptional build standards. This achievement streamlines the approval process for Quickline when using Openreach products, ultimately expediting network expansion through a more efficient delivery process.

Lee Allison, Chief Operating Officer at Quickline, expressed the company’s delight and pride in attaining PTC status from Openreach. He acknowledged the dedication and hard work of Quickline’s teams, including their internal build team and build partners PBS Construction, Opals Group, and Rapid Response Telecoms. This recognition underscores Quickline’s commitment to its full-fiber expansion plans across rural Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, further strengthening its essential partnership with Openreach.
