ITS Technology Group Unveils New Locations for Faster Britain Full Fibre Rollout

ITS Technology Group (ITS), a wholesale full fibre provider, has announced its latest expansion plans, revealing ten new locations set to benefit from the Faster Britain full fibre rollout. This initiative aims to enhance digital connectivity and support businesses in various towns and cities across the UK.

The rollout has already made significant progress, with full fibre networks now operational in Lincoln, Chorley (Lancashire), and Stockport, including Heaton Mersey and Heaton Moor in Greater Manchester. These areas have begun installing customers, further bolstering the reach of ultrafast connectivity.

Additionally, businesses in Accrington and Blackburn (Lancashire), Birmingham, Newark on Trent (Midlands), and Burton upon Trent (Derbyshire) are poised to experience the benefits of full fibre connectivity. The completion of infrastructure in these areas is expected by the end of the month, marking a significant step towards improved digital capabilities and faster internet speeds for local businesses.

ITS Technology Group’s ambitious rollout has been made possible through funding from Aviva, secured in December 2019. The company is on track to pass more than 180,000 business premises with its Gigabit-capable infrastructure by the end of the year. This expansion has been particularly focused on regions in the North West, Midlands, and London.

Furthermore, ITS is taking a leading role in the delivery of 212 kilometers of full fibre infrastructure known as LCR Connect, serving the Liverpool Region Combined Authority. Collaborating with construction partner NGE, the project is now in progress, with several substantial sections set to become operational early next year.

CEO of ITS, Daren Baythorpe, expressed his satisfaction with the progress and emphasized the transformative impact of this infrastructure on local businesses. He also highlighted ITS’ commitment to educating end-users about the advantages of full fibre and its dedication to a collaborative approach with partners.

ITS Technology Group’s innovative approach to network construction minimizes disruption to local communities and expedites customer connections, offering an industry-leading 15 working day pledge for on-net installations*. Partners gain access to Faster Britain networks through various layers, ensuring high-quality, Gigabit-capable connectivity that can be quickly ordered through the ITS portal and API.
