ITS, a leading telecommunications provider, has appointed Andy Bell, a seasoned expert in the public sector telecoms domain, as its Head of Public Sector Sales.
With four decades of experience in telecommunications, including two decades exclusively focused on the public sector, Andy Bell is well-equipped to lead ITS’s efforts in collaborating with local authorities, government bodies, and frameworks to drive fibre deployment and adoption.
ITS has a strong track record of involvement in the public sector, exemplified by its recent joint ventures such as LCR Connect in the Liverpool City Region and Digital Greenwich Connect in The Royal Borough of Greenwich.
The company has also engaged in numerous collaborations with various local authorities, including Tameside Council, Blackpool Council, Hammersmith and Fulham, Nottingham, and, more recently, across London with Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, and Havering.
Given that ITS’s Faster Britain fibre network covers 80 other local authorities, Andy Bell’s role will involve assisting partners in maximizing opportunities directly and through frameworks.
