Grain Reaches 30,000 Connected Customers on Their Full Fibre Network

Grain has just hit a major milestone – over 30,000 customers are now connected to their full fibre network.

Grain is growing fast, that’s for sure. They have infrastructure in over 50 towns, like Carlisle, Birmingham, Blackpool, Bolton, Bradford, Grimsby, Hartlepool, Hull, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, North Shields, Oldham, and Sunderland.

Grain receives lots of positive feedback from their customers: They never increase prices mid-contract and believe it or not, they never use “poles” when building their network. That’s no easy task.

Grain is already driving towards the next milestone, with thousands more homes set to go live on the network and even more in the pipeline. This includes over 150 new build developments across the country.

Richard Cameron, CEO of Grain, summed it up perfectly: “We are proud that we are truly delivering on our mission to provide the UK with a better choice for broadband and supporting 30,000 customers to go Full Fibre with better speeds, greater reliability, and value for money. With 220,000 homes ready for service on our network that have been live for an average of around 10 months, this shows that customers are quickly making the move to Grain as soon as we go live on their street. We are achieving a similar take-up rate on our premises to that which Openreach has been achieving on homes live over the same time period.”
