Marlborough Rugby Club’s supporters are now better equipped to keep track of scores during matches, thanks to a sponsorship deal with rural full fibre broadband provider, Gigaclear.
As part of its support for the table-topping rugby side, Gigaclear has installed a new electronic scoreboard, ensuring fans have an accurate tally of points scored during games.
Gigaclear, currently extending its full fibre broadband network to over 4,400 homes and businesses in Marlborough, has also agreed to sponsor the rugby club’s mini and junior section. This sponsorship includes a series of fun challenges held regularly throughout the season.
Amanda Palmer, Youth Chair at Marlborough Rugby, expressed her appreciation for Gigaclear’s support and highlighted the positive impact on the Minis and Juniors. She said, “Gigaclear’s sponsorship of our fun challenges will undoubtedly encourage them further. We recognize the importance of fast and reliable broadband for many homeowners and businesses these days and therefore we welcome the company’s efforts to extend its full fibre network in the town.”
