BeFibre Extends Full Fibre Service to Harold Hill and Collier Row, Closing the Digital Divide

BeFibre, a forward-looking full fibre broadband provider, has unveiled its services in Harold Hill and Collier Row, ushering in a new era of high-speed internet connectivity for residents. The infrastructure upgrade introduces future-proofed fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) connectivity to the areas, with significant coverage and service readiness milestones already achieved.

In Harold Hill, BeFibre’s full fibre network is now available for 16.7K residential properties, with 2.4k premises already service-ready. Meanwhile, in Collier Row, the network reaches up to 10.5k premises, with over 3.5k now ready for service. This development aligns with a nationwide initiative to bridge the digital divide and ensure gigabit-capable internet connectivity for every home and business in the UK by 2025.

BeFibre adopts an innovative approach to network deployment by leveraging existing ducts, eliminating the need for extensive road excavation. This strategy not only expedites the rollout process but also reduces costs, enhances efficiency, and minimizes the environmental impact associated with network deployment.

The full fibre offering from BeFibre promises download and upload speeds up to 13 times faster than the prevalent fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC) coverage in the UK. As part of the company’s commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction, BeFibre stands out in the market by avoiding mid-contract price hikes and providing a 30-day satisfaction guarantee to its customers.

Louise Elliott, Chief Operating Officer of BeFibre, expressed the significance of the rollout in meeting heightened customer expectations and digital demands. She emphasized the company’s commitment to simplifying broadband for communities through a jargon-free approach, ensuring customers understand the value and reliability of their broadband service.

Elliott acknowledged the competitive nature of the broadband market and emphasized BeFibre’s mission to challenge the prevailing perception that Internet Service Providers (ISPs) often fall short on promises related to speed, reliability, and customer service. With a focus on delivering on commitments, BeFibre aims to redefine the broadband experience for residents in Harold Hill and Collier Row.
