Quickline, the rural broadband provider, has served up a delectable treat to nearly 1,000 residents in various communities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Celebrating the successful launch of their fast and reliable broadband in these locations, Quickline treated residents in Folkingham and South Elkington in Lincolnshire, South Ferriby in North Lincolnshire, and Staxton and Burnsall in North Yorkshire to a complimentary chippy tea.
As a gesture of gratitude for welcoming Quickline to their villages, residents were treated to free fish and chips at special events held in each of the five locations. The portions were either provided by local takeaways or served up by a mobile fish and chip van.
This initiative is part of Quickline’s wider celebration of launching full fibre broadband in communities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The chippy tea giveaway not only adds a flavorful touch to the festivities but also serves as a warm thank-you to the communities that have embraced Quickline’s broadband services.
Sarah Lilleyman-Hall, Events Manager at Quickline, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “It has been absolutely brilliant to see and talk to so many people from such a wide variety of communities across the whole of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Everybody loves a chippy tea, especially at this time of year when it’s getting colder and darker. And it gives us at Quickline a great opportunity to meet the people living in the areas where we have built our network and find out more about what it’s like to live in that community.”
