Quickline, the broadband provider committed to connecting rural communities, is set to make this Christmas extra special for residents across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire with its “Season of Giving” campaign. Following the success of last year’s ’12 Days of Quickmas,’ the initiative aims to bring festive joy to isolated communities by offering support for various Christmas plans.
Julian Chalk, Quickline’s Head of Engagement and Enablement, expressed the company’s commitment to helping rural communities flourish, not only through network connectivity but also by actively supporting local events and activities.
The “Season of Giving” campaign invites residents, groups, and businesses to reach out and request assistance for their festive plans. Quickline is extending support in various forms, including funding events, sending team members to participate and help run activities, and recognizing groups making a positive impact in their communities.
Chalk stated, “We want to work with the communities we serve across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire to help them grow and develop. Christmas is a brilliant time for people to come together, and we want to support that by whatever means possible.”
In alignment with Quickline’s mission to bridge the digital divide between urban and rural areas, the company has already supported several festive events and activities. Initiatives include gifting hot chocolate and treats at the Burton-upon-Stather Christmas Fair, supplying decorative lights for Willingham by Stow’s Christmas Magic event, sponsoring Christmas Trees, contributing to a pensioners’ Christmas lunch in Chop Gate, and supporting Christmas activities at Keelby Primary School in Lincolnshire.
Helen Milner, a Community Executive at Quickline, highlighted the company’s desire to do even more this Christmas, emphasizing the Season of Giving campaign as an opportunity for Quickline to give back to the communities it serves.
Milner stated, “Our Season of Giving campaign is all about Quickline giving something back to the communities we serve and spreading a bit of Christmas cheer along the way.”
As Quickline gears up to deliver support across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire during the festive period, the Season of Giving campaign reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the lives of residents in rural areas.
