Eastrington stands to join the ranks of more than 38,000 homes and businesses in the East Riding already benefiting from access to full fibre broadband, should a sufficient number of residents participate in this initiative.
Crucially, funding through the Government’s Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme, coupled with the deployment of cutting-edge broadband signal boosting technology, holds the potential to extend the full fibre network’s reach to include thousands of remote rural communities like Eastrington.
Openreach’s recognition of Eastrington as a candidate for Full Fibre coverage underscores the village’s eligibility for the initiative. Local residents are strongly encouraged to apply for and collectively utilize free Government Gigabit Vouchers to contribute to the network’s construction.
