Lincolnshire, UK – Quickline, a rapidly growing broadband provider, is taking a bold step to bridge the digital divide between urban and rural areas by offering rural residents a unique broadband deal. In a move that challenges industry norms, Quickline is providing all new customers in rural communities with three months of free broadband, and there’s no requirement to sign a contract.
This “try before you buy” approach stands in stark contrast to many broadband providers who often trap rural customers in lengthy contracts while delivering subpar service characterized by slow speeds, frequent buffering, and frustrating dropouts.
Rural communities are disproportionately affected by what’s been termed a “digital divide” between urban and rural areas. While urban centers enjoy abundant fiber networks from various providers, rural communities are often neglected, leaving residents with substandard broadband.
Quickline is changing this narrative by offering rural users an opportunity to experience their broadband service for 90 days without any financial obligation or commitment. Sean Royce, CEO of Quickline, expressed his belief that no community should have to endure subpar broadband service: “We believe passionately that no one should have to struggle with poor broadband. It’s a lifeline that permeates every aspect of life, encompassing leisure, socializing, and business.”
Quickline is actively investing in a hybrid network of fiber and 5G fixed wireless broadband to serve rural areas in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. This initiative aims to help even the most remote communities access reliable digital services.
Customers who take advantage of this offer can choose to sign up for a contract if they are satisfied with the service or leave with no charge or penalty if they are not. Quickline’s offer stands in contrast to many other providers that require customers to commit to lengthy contracts, often with hidden terms and conditions.
Quickline provides a range of technologies and packages, including fiber broadband with speeds of up to 900Mbps and fixed wireless broadband with speeds of up to 200Mbps. The company, backed by £500 million in investment from Northleaf Capital Partners, is rapidly expanding its coverage area in North and West Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, and Lincolnshire.
Anne and John Pink, residents of Burton upon Stather in North Lincolnshire, praised Quickline for transforming their broadband experience: “Our internet access is now fast and reliable. We can do our online shopping in half the time it took before and be on video calls without fear of the embarrassment of it dropping out halfway through.”
Quickline aims to bring this level of transformation to more rural communities with its free, no-contract broadband offer. Sean Royce concluded, “We’re confident that, after 90 days, they won’t want to live without it!”
