nexfibre has released its quarterly update, showing that as of September 30th, they’ve reached over 1.5 million properties passed. Considering nexfibre was established in January 2023, reaching this figure in such a short time gives us confidence that they’re on track to meet their ambitious target of 5 million properties passed by 2026.
In December 2023’s quarterly update, they reported reaching 800,000 premises in under twelve months. Since then, they’ve added an additional 757,000 properties over the last eight months, averaging close to 100,000 properties per month.
To achieve their goal of 5 million premises passed by the end of 2026, Nexfibre would need to increase their build rate to a minimum of 150,000 properties per month. Given that the business is still in its growth stage, this target seems very achievable.
