This move is a part of their broader plan to reach more than 22,000 premises across Leicestershire, in collaboration with their build partner and anchor tenant, Virgin Media O2.
This investment in Loughborough is another step forward in nexfibre’s mission to deploy its next-gen full-fibre network across the UK. Recently, they celebrated a major milestone, having reached 1 million premises, with an ambitious target of 5 million by 2026.
nexfibre’s full-fibre broadband leverages the latest XGS-PON technology, offering symmetrical speeds up to 10 Gbps. This means more people in Loughborough and the wider Leicestershire area can now enjoy high-speed broadband and TV Stream services through Virgin Media O2.
