Hull-based “altnet” MS3 Networks has launched a refer-a-friend programme to encourage customers to switch to its full fibre broadband. The scheme offers a £50 reward to MS3 customers who refer new customers in Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Immingham, and Mexborough.
Win-win all around. New full fibre. Plus fifty quid in your and your friend’s back pocket!
They’ve kept the model “easy to use”, with existing customers receiving a personalised link to share with friends, family, and colleagues. When someone signs up using the link with one of MS3’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) partners, both the new customer and the referrer will get a £50 voucher for Amazon, Asda, or Just Eat. (I’d 100% be taking the Just Eat)
The programme includes an online dashboard where customers can track how often their link has been used and see any vouchers they are due to receive (no doubt, some savvy millennials will be fiscating over a new affiliate lead marketing scheme).
Adam Kelly, head of marketing at MS3 Networks, said: “As fast and reliable internet becomes increasingly important, we don’t want people in the Hull and Humber region to sacrifice speed for affordability, especially amid cost-of-living concerns. Our referral scheme not only allows local people to switch to a quick and affordable package but also helps them save money on food and household essentials with Asda, Amazon, and Just Eat vouchers.”
