FluidOne has appointed Graham Dickie as its new Chief Financial Officer, with the role officially commencing on 6th January 2025. Bringing over two decades of financial leadership to the business, Graham’s extensive experience will play a pivotal role in shaping FluidOne’s future as it continues its journey of growth and innovation.
Graham has a distinguished career, having served as CFO in multinational businesses with revenues exceeding £100m since 2006. He has a proven track record of leading transformative projects, including raising finance, enhancing profitability, and developing robust pricing strategies to support sales teams. His expertise spans large-scale restructuring, refinancing, and value creation across both private equity-backed firms and multi-billion-dollar listed organisations. With his comprehensive leadership and commercial acumen, Graham is set to drive the next phase of FluidOne’s expansion.
FluidOne has undergone a remarkable transformation since its management buyout six years ago, led by CEO Russell Horton and supported by Livingbridge. In that time, the company has grown fourfold, achieving revenues of £113m and evolving from a connectivity specialist into a managed service provider focused on IT and cybersecurity. Over half of its revenue now comes from IT and cybersecurity services, with recurring revenue exceeding 70%.
FluidOne’s customer-centric approach has earned it a reputation for exceptional service, reflected in its impressive Net Promoter Score of 82 as of November 2024. With a portfolio of 2,400 customers, the company designs tailored solutions that integrate seamlessly with in-house IT systems, enabling secure access to complex hybrid environments and applications. FluidOne’s award-winning culture combines being a great place to work with delivering industry-leading service, a balance that sets it apart in the IT and cyber space.
Looking ahead, the company is gearing up for a new phase of strategic growth, aiming for £300m in turnover by 2030 through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. Already boasting nine successful acquisitions in recent years, FluidOne remains committed to maintaining its high standards of quality as it scales.
Russell Horton, CEO of FluidOne, expressed his excitement at Graham’s arrival: “Graham’s deep financial expertise and experience in executing buy-and-build strategies make him the perfect fit for FluidOne at this exciting stage. His immediate cultural alignment with our team and his ability to drive results will be instrumental as we push forward with our ambitious plans.”
Graham Dickie added: “I’m thrilled to be joining FluidOne at such a pivotal moment in its journey. The company has achieved incredible growth and is poised to solidify its position as a leader in IT, cyber, and communications solutions. I’m eager to contribute to its ongoing success.”
As CFO, Graham will join the group board alongside Russell Horton and CIO Chris Rogers, bringing fresh energy and expertise to FluidOne’s ambitious vision for the future.
