Common Wholesale Platform Ltd (CWP) has announced great news for ISPs! From now until the One Touch Switching (OTS) regulation launch on 12th September 2024 (fingers crossed), CWP is offering free access to its Common Switching Platform (CSP) service.
For those unaware, Common Wholesale Platform Ltd (CWP) is a not-for-profit, member-owned organization that supports the nation’s “full fibre boom” by providing value-added services to networks and ISPs. They are best known as one of the preferred third-party integrators for OTS.
This announcement allows retailers to onboard and test the facility before the go-live date, avoiding the “anxious” rush closer to the deadline.
While the full terms aren’t entirely clear, it seems like a no-brainer. CWP is one of the most affordable TPIs working with OTS, so why not take advantage of the free service and eliminate the hassle before September?
