In 2020 the firm that had already completed Foresight’s banking and had secured a significant amount of investment to help expand the network as the company looked to build to over 100,000 premises, which is more than double the original targets. The network was taking shape, planning had concluded, and agreements were in place for the backbone and colocation in Zenium in London Slough.
The company has recently announced that its ownership has been transferred from Lightning Fibre Limited to LF Holdco 2 Ltd and its trade name is Lightning Fibre. Despite the transfer, the company states that the business will not be impacted, and the operation is scheduled to carry on as usual.
