In a show of commitment to the local community, the emerging broadband provider, BeFibre, is stepping up its involvement in Bramley by sponsoring the under 13s football club, Bramley Sunnyside Juniors. This move follows the company’s earlier announcement of venturing into Bramley with its next-generation broadband services.
Bramley Sunnyside FC, a grassroots football club, features 27 teams catering to the age range of 5 to 18 years. The ethos of the club emphasizes making football accessible to all, aligning with BeFibre’s dedication to community engagement.
The sponsorship by BeFibre encompasses the provision of Bramley Sunnyside FC’s U13s away strip and training kit, inclusive of winter jackets. Rob Elliott, the Vice-Chairman of the club, expressed gratitude, highlighting the significant support that BeFibre’s sponsorship provides to the U13s team.
Louise Elliott, Chief Customer and Operations Officer for BeFibre and Digital Infrastructure, underscored the company’s unwavering commitment to community initiatives. She emphasized the importance of supporting local grassroots teams like Bramley Sunnyside FC, considering them as fundamental pillars of society.
BeFibre’s £100 million network rollout, privately funded and executed by its sister company, Digital Infrastructure, is well underway in Bramley and its surrounding areas. The initial homes are set to be connected to this advanced broadband network early next year, reflecting BeFibre’s continued efforts to enhance connectivity in the region.
